Mangan, Jan 22 (IPR): As part of the monthly activity calendar under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and a pre-Republic Day endeavour, Mangan Nagar Panchayat carried out a cleanliness drive at Mangan Bazar today.
The cleanliness drive has the enthusiastic participation of Ward Councilors, local NGO “Northern Ryders Club”, individuals and other stakeholders.
Mangan Nagar Panchayat has always involved “Jan Bhagidari” while carrying out such activities. With the active participation of the people of Mangan, the event was a huge success

New Delhi, Jan 23 (IPR) Ms Sazia Ilmi, Spokesperson of the ruling BJP government, acknowledged and applauded the initiative of “Janta ka Cinema, Sikkim.
Speaking to media, Miss Sazia Ilmi stated that the Janta ka Cinema will certainly be an influential medium to connect communities, villagers and everyone in Sikkim beyond providing entertainment at their doorsteps. She added, it is been a great effort made by the Sikkim government that can be adopted in all other places as well. The way the funding is being assisted or supported by the government, it is a commendable step to ensure accessibility of information, entertainment and also strengthening communication.
She made this statement after a Memorandum of Understanding was signed at Noida Gold Course between the Sikkim Film Co-operative Society Ltd and Jadooz Entertainment Pvt Ltd, today

The MoU was signed with the objectives of setting up one ‘Janata Ka Theater’ in every district in the first phase. providing interactive education for 10th,12th,NEET, Engineering and English and educating 1000 people per center, Generating 25-50 direct and indirect jobs per center

The Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Prem Singh Tamang attended the video conference organised by the (NATIONAL INSTITUTION FOR TRANSFORMING INDIA) Niti Aayog to evaluate the achievements made by the aspirational districts of the country.
The conference was chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who emphasised on promoting the slogan of “Vocal for Local” in the aspirational districts and encouraged the development of traditional products, traditional skills, and value chain for marketing of the products and services. He also acknowledged the enthusiasm of the Hon’ble Chief Minister towards the development of the aspirational district.
It may be recalled that the West District made tremendous progress as an aspirational district after the formation of the new Government in May 2019 and had achieved 2nd position in all parameters of development out of 112 districts in the country.
