Orientation Programme for newly appointed Veterinary Officers & ADDO’s

Gangtok, February 22nd (IPR): Three Days Orientation Programme for newly appointed Veterinary Officers & ADDO’s organised by Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Department commenced today, at the Training Hall of Department of AH &VS, Training Centre, Sokaythang.
Hon’ble Minister for Department of AH&VS, Shri L. N. Sharma, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Hon’ble Minister in his brief address congratulated the newly appointed Veterinary Officers and ADDO’s and urged them to perform with sincerity, dedication and hard work. He said – “We shall develop and improve AH & VS sector, with the contribution of your knowledge, hands-on fieldwork and proper management”.
Earlier, the Welcome Address was delivered by Principal Director (AH), Dr. Sangay D Bhutia
Introductory note on the programme and briefing was delivered by Addl Director (VS), Dr. Sanjay M Gazmer, wherein he briefly apprised the gathering about the contents of the orientation that is to be covered during the 3 day orientation programme.
It is to be mentioned that 31 Veterinary Officers and 3 ADDO (Assistant Dairy Development Officer) have been newly appointed for all the 4 districts in the State.
