Gyalshing, 30 Sept (IPR): Twenty-five-daylong Residential Electrician Training which had commenced on 06 Sept successfully concluded at Government ITI Gyalshing campus. The chief guest for the closing ceremony was District Collector, West, Shri Karma R. Bonpo, accompanied by Shri Om Prakash Singh, Deputy Commandant 72 BN SSB Yuksam and Principal ITI.
The DC West, in his address, congratulated the 25 trainees from different parts of Sikkim who had completed the 25 days long training successfully. He advised the trainees to expand the knowledge that they have gained in the training period and get enrolled in the Government.
ITI centers to enhance their skills further in order to be capable for the coming future. He also mentioned that as they have learnt they should make themselves more capable to achieve greater heights in the future.
The State needs self-sufficient and reliable youths who can make the State proud and Govt. ITI is an institute which caters to the need of empowering youths to be skilled and be self-reliant. He also mentioned that skilled workforce is the demand of the industries and hence they should be able to gather more experiences and skills in order to establish themselves.
He also enlightened them about the various avenues and opportunities available in India and abroad for which they should try. He also mentioned schemes and projects for the youths who are willing to do something in life.
Principal ITI also addressed the gathering under the similar lines and encouraged the participants to take part in similar training and make themselves self-sufficient.
The 25-daylong residential electrician training programme was organized by the 72 BN SSB Yuksam under the Civic Action Program North East Region. The main trainers for the training programme were Shri Sanjiv Ramudhamu and Shri Dhani Raj Rai (Faculty of Govt. ITI Gyalshing).
