The Minister-cum-Area MLA of Gyalshing Bermiok Constituency Shri Lok Nath Sharma led a joint inspection visit at Kaanstaar and Chandabong along the Kalej Khola

Gyalshing, May 23 ( IPR) The Minister-cum-Area MLA of Gyalshing Bermiok Constituency Shri Lok Nath Sharma led a joint inspection visit at Kaanstaar and Chandabong along the Kalej Khola, in his constituency, today.
The Hon’ble Minister Sharma was accompanied by the Hon’ble Advisor, AH & VS Deptt. Shri Durga Prasad Pradhan, President Gyalshing Nagar Panchayat Shri Devendra Sharma, District Collector ,Gyalshing Smt. Yishey D. Yongda, Divisional Forest Officer (T) Gyalshing Shri TB Gurung, ACF (T) Gyalshing Shri Krishna Dewan IFS, SE UD &HD Shri Keshav Niroula, Joint Secretary UD &HD Smt. Ringzing Choden, DE UD &HDShri Suman Shanker, Sub Divisional Magistrate Dentam, BDO Hee Martam BAC, BDO Gyalshing, MEO Gyalshing, Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers, officials, and panchayats.
The joint inspection was carried out to undertake onward action for developing a tourist destination like “Mini Goa” at the proposed site of Kaanstaar, Gyalshing Omchung GPU.
Minister Sharma shared the detailed concept of planning for accomodating various tourism components including a bridge with unique features, fish tank, fishing pool, swimming pool, sandy beach for sports events, jungle safari, pedestrian path, cafeteria, picnic spots and many other attractions for tourists. He also advised forest officials to expedite the process of acquiring clearance from the concerned department, at the earliest.
The visiting team had thorough discussion on inclusion of every components and contemplated on series of actions to be undertaken further in accomplishing the goal.
Thereafter, the Hon’ble Minister Sharma chaired a meeting with the panchayats, local public and officials with regard to development of market at Chandabong, Valley of Kalej Khola.
He drew lights on tourism potential of the area and came out with the detailed plan of developing market at the identified location. He highlighted the district features of proposed market and persuaded local public to opt for best option in availing land for the development of planned market that would benefit the land owners, eventually.
The Hon’ble minister directed the concerned department to submit the detailed project report within ten days.
